WOW huge GG lot on eBay. It had a Boxed Tarzan and Boxed Smurfs Travel the WOrld in it. I was in discussion with them from the beginning trying to get the ok to bid from USA and they now tell me yes but someone got them to sell the Tarzan out of the lot already. UGH! I told them I'm not interested anymore but for someone in UK it's still a nice big lot.

Looks like he changed his mind:
On 29-Oct-10 at 07:26:35 BST, seller added the following information:

Please note that the Tarzan game which has its original carboard box and its manual all in excellent condition is BACK in the auction.

I think he's trying to achieve a better offer for Tarzan... A lot of interest from different people increased his demand...

Yep I asked him and he said he will be posting pics of Tarzan tonight. I also told him to post pics of Smurfs 2 while he's at it.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! My CIB Tarzan got here today. A couple tricks of the trade and the sticker is gone with zero damage. Very Happy to mark this one off the list. I think I'll put it on display next to my USA CIB NES Stadium Events. Just glad this one didn't cost me over $7,000 :)

I remember reading about someone who paid about $17,000 for a very rare test cartridge for the NES. The cart in question had five demos on it and didn't have any full games.

Was that you?

It was the Ni****do World Championship 1990.
It had 3 games on it, and was used for a competition across the US.
Technically, they had full games, but was set to automatically switch to the next game when a certain condition was met (and stop playing when the timer in the cart ran out).
It is rare because only 26 gold copies exist, given away as magazine prizes (as well as 90 standard copies given to contest winners, and those are the only copies released to the public).

A few days ago a friend of mine gave me a couple of SMS games, one of those games is a Portuguese Purple Desert Speedtrap. Complete and in great condition. Since I already have one for a while, I decided to put this one for sale.

The CIB Smurfs 2 only ended at £31. I thought it would be nearer double that.

I had a bid on the F1 World Champ auction (with WWF Raw, etc, too).

I'm surprised at how high the multi-cart went for.

Yep I was winning that 8 game lot from Germany from the first hour it was listed all the way through the end. My bid was over 110 Euros so for 71 it was well under my high bid.

The other guy bidding against us was Sega_Game_Gear_God.
