I finally imported the "homebrew music" over from the old site:

That also let me fill in the music competition pages:

Things I'm still interested in:

1. Better icons. These are just some random icons from the internet; what I'd really like would be some consistent icons for the formats we have: MP3, OGG, VGM, "module", MIDI, and some kind of fallback default.

2. "Album art". The site supports uploading any image with the same name as the music file and it'll use that instead. So if anyone wants to make some art (especially if it's their entry), go ahead.

3. More items. I surely haven't been doing a good job of collecting homebrew music over the last few years, so anyone who wants to take charge of maintaining this and adding the ones I've missed is more than welcome. Bear in mind that all items must only be included with permission. That might also give the possibility for listing results from other people's competitions.

I can create the icons. Which sizes are needed?

Here are 2 concept icons (32x32). Font should be changed for higher contrast and the blue must be that of smspower, of course. What do you think?

Ideally, 256x256 with some alpha transparency (antialiasing, etc). I like the style of the existing icons, but I'd prefer a more consistent look.

That's pretty nice :) Can you make the whole set? SMS Power blue might not be great as the background is already that colour, is it easy to switch the background colour?

Yeah, I'll do the whole set.
I'll try adding the colour in some other ways anyway. And we'll see.

I've uploaded them to the site, and also given you edit permissions.

Here are 2 complete sets, one with blue background and another with white background. It comes in several qualities.
I uploaded the 8 colour palette, white background version. 16 colour version looks somewhat better, and probalby is the best choice. I think other qualities are too big.
