Version 1.10
Added three non-looping tracks, including what appears to be an unused theme Round Clear (Ver. C). It could be there's some obscure use for it, but I never came across it. Maybe it was intended as an alternative, or meant to play when you beat the game. (There's just silence leading into the extro/ending) |

Here is an updated version of The GG Shinobi II. Back in October 2015, I asked Koshiro on Twitter which tracks he composed. He said that he vaguely remembers, however he confirms that Canyon 2, Boss and Final Boss are Kawashima's compositions (just like I guessed). You can read the tweet here: https://twitter.com/yuzokoshiro/status/652753694077792256
In addition, I have added Kawashima as a composer for other tracks, except the ones that are confirmed to be Koshiro's. |

Well, I uploaded drdevilfx's update to the site, albeit with some modifications since many of the songs in the pack ended up uncompressed. Between that and cleaning up the txt a little, I figured that a version increment was appropriate. | |

Motohiro Kawashima just confirmed the credits for each individual tracks in the game between himself and Yuzo Koshiro:

So I saw this too and was working on retagging the VGMs to incorporate this new information mentioned, when I noticed that one of the songs had invalid commands that was causing VGM players to trip up on it. That and one other song turned out to have really wonky logs, so I decided to re-rip them (along with Canyon 2 to bring it down to one loop).
I also followed up on Sherpa's work a bit- identifying the "unused" Round Clear variant (it was the Game Over) and adding his name into the VGM files themselves. |

Nice work, but since the iron is hot maybe you can also change the "Start" to credit him solely, he mentioned it in another comment:
https://twitter.com/mvorak/status/1738046726387417111 I would change but I don't know how to. I mean I can change it in foobar2000 but I don't know how much that carries over to other players. |

Oops, added the info in a silent update (for anyone who needs a further paper trail, see the playlist page's history).
What I personally use is version 0.29 of foo_input_vgm for 32-bit foobar2000 (which you can find here). There are other (and probably better) options, but this setup is what has served me well over the past year or two. |
