Does any one know how to program a 2732, 2764, 27128 or 28xxx EPROM?

The zws 'href="http://www.zws.com/products/epromr2/index.html">EPROMr2 (plans, you buy the parts and build it yourself) lists the 2764 and 27128 as compatible eproms. The 2732 isn't officially supported, since it requires a higher programming voltage, but the creator lists an experimental modification you can try to program them. Some older 2764's might not work.

Don't know about the 28xxx.

P.S. what do you want to program 4kbyte roms for? Burning 2600 cartridges?

The cheapest universal programmer I've seen that has a decent reputation is made by xeltek, I believe the L+ unit is around $250, and does many varieties of eproms (serial and parellel, you probably only need parellel maybe maybe you want to hack a talking barbie doll and make it say rude things) including many 28xxx series eproms.
