Does any one know how to program a 2732, 2764, 27128 or 28xxx EPROM?

The zws 'href="http://www.zws.com/products/epromr2/index.html">EPROMr2 (plans, you buy the parts and build it yourself) lists the 2764 and 27128 as compatible eproms. The 2732 isn't officially supported, since it requires a higher programming voltage, but the creator lists an experimental modification you can try to program them. Some older 2764's might not work. Don't know about the 28xxx. |

P.S. what do you want to program 4kbyte roms for? Burning 2600 cartridges?
The cheapest universal programmer I've seen that has a decent reputation is made by xeltek, I believe the L+ unit is around $250, and does many varieties of eproms (serial and parellel, you probably only need parellel maybe maybe you want to hack a talking barbie doll and make it say rude things) including many 28xxx series eproms. |
