----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sega Master System Overseas games list by Omar Cornut / Bock Version 1.22 omar @ cornut.fr Started July 28, 2001 http://www.smspower.org Last Updated September 08, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last version at: http://www.smspower.org/museum/lists/smsall.txt ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This list is a serious attempt to list all existing SMS games released outside of Asia. As far as I know, no other list seems to be both as complete and accurate. PLEASE NOTE THAT BY *OVERSEAS* I MEAN OUTSIDE OF ASIA. OVERSEAS DOES NOT MEAN OUTSIDE OF THE USA! As some may think. Japan is the country where the SMS and many games were made, and thus the term 'overseas' logically depends on that fact. I am not including Korean games either since they're not well known as of yet, and they use the same format as Japanese cartridges. If you are interested in Japanese games, another list of mine is available as well (SMSALLJ.TXT). I am not including in this list all the crap that may appear on other lists (Doraemon, Captain Planet, Maze Hunter 3-D II, etc.) Unique game listing should be complete, unless new titles are being discovered (probably from Brasil). Many variation may be missing. Comments and country informations ARE NOT VERY ACCURATE yet. The last (fourth) column is only filled when the game is specific to a certain part of the world. It is very hard to say if a game was released outside of Europe except for USA, so I am not yet sure how to handle countries on later versions of this document. Readers from South America, Oceania or Africa, forgive me. Note: - Almost all (if not all) European games were imported to Oceania. - Several European games seems to have been imported to Canada. - A few USA games were unofficially imported to Europe. Any help, suggestions and corrections are welcome. This list has been updated several times thanks to feedback from various SMS users. I'd like to thanks them all (I might spend some time looking in my archives to build a list of you guys). -------------------------------------------------------------------- Country Codes -------------------------------------------------------------------- AUS : Australia BRA : Brasil CAN : Canada EUR : Europe (all countries) HK : Hong-Kong POR : Portugal USA : United States European games sometimes include comments about distinct country releases. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- History ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 0.90 Original release Version 0.91 Added "F-16 Fighter" (card).
