That is awesome. Even the box itself didn't have enough memory for more than one color. I have a ton of card games in my collection, but not this one. I do have a spare Hang On/Safari Hunt cart, though.

I somehow find this more stylish in all its monochrome glory than the usual covers.

Yep Onyx, congratulations on finding this. Apart from Racoonlad's unboxed look-a-likes has anything similar to this been found before?

How much did you pay for this? I'll trade you for an F-16 Fighting Falcon card. :)

Thanks Sinistral, i still need to view those games that Racoonlad found

Does anyone know where the images are linked?

I paid 131 Euros for it Joe, it came with a complete German Master System set and about another 12 games which included some nice German released games

Oh and it came with the booklet that had a picture of the proto graphics board

I would have got it a bit cheaper if it werent for Bock! we had a little bidding war but the best man won in the end... Me :)

Another copy of this (without the manual?) sold earlier for 104 euros.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180749396650

Sadly, I didn't win the auction. :(

I don't know, I thought I would definitely get it with my bid of 103 euros.

Can I ask, is this version a German only release?

Yep, it's the same since I found the first one by checking dyer60's last purchases (checking every now and then since he always seems to find very badly listed über rare stuff from nowhere)

When I started collecting I had no job and had all day long to sit and hit refresh... You would be surprised what would pop up cheap on buy-it-now or people who would accept cheap prices to end auctions.

I also had loads of searches I would do including common spelling mistakes, I think I was a bit obsessed looking back.

Checking that guys last purchases will drive you insane haha!

So.. Back on topic.. I'm aware of 3 red Hang On Cards now with collectors.

Was the same for me :)
What amazes me with dyer is that he still has the time while being a family man.

Kenneth, he sent me an e-mail (I wonder if he is mixing you up with me!) saying he isn't a family man but he spends an hour a day searching for games. That's a lot of time! I remember doing that back in the early 2000's.

Also he sent pictures of an early My Hero (not red, but bearing an similar early type of manual found occasionally).

Only an hour a day ?
Considering all the amazing stuff he always seems to be finding, again and again, I'm wondering what are his secret powers :)
