Is any one able to tell me what pitch the pins are on the SG-1000/MkIII expansion port connectors? Is it 0.1" (2.54mm) or 0.125" (3.17mm) or something different again? Thanks!

Do you mean the distance between the centers of 2 pins? I checked a Mark III expansion port connector with a ruler and found 2.50mm. So, maybe a more accurate measurement would be 2.54mm.

Measure from the left edge of the first pin to the left edge of the last pin and divide to get more accuracy.

I brought a sk-1100 keyboard to have a play with and wanted to start making an interface adapter for it. I just needed to know what sort of connector it was so i can make a start on the board before the keyboard arrives.
Based on your measurement its likely a 2.54mm 50 pin connector with only half the pins used and a notch/key in one spot to stop it being able to plug in the wrong way around. So thats nice and easy!
Thanks again!
