PAL/NTSC mode differences...
Post Posted: Mon Aug 19, 2019 2:56 am
James Pond 2 when running in PAL mode has a lot more effects like snow falling, parallax etc than when running in NTSC mode, is there any other game that benefits from such a feature?
But every time I play James Pomd 2 I have to set the emulator as PAL to achieve such effects as it is always recognized as an American game, Is there any method to change the rom region? Mega Drive and Super Ni****do have several patches to make this work.

No, there's no way to tell from the ROM what region it requires or works best with.

That is so cool, I had no idea there was stuff like this!

I just know quite a few games have glitching when not running PAL, like my beloved New Zealand Story..
