I dont think this is supposed to happen, is it?
Is it some sort of automsg the system is sending? I tried to reply, to the first batch, then i got the second batch.
No idea what is going on, but i had to disable PM e-mail notification.

I don't know who this person is but he's a pain in the ass. Deleting the accounts seems to delete all the PMs.

Thanks for looking into it.
So far, just these 2 usernames, but if anymore pops up, i'll let you know.
@Maxim: yes, the spam pms are gone from my inbox.

I manually deleted their PM with a DB query yesterday.
It's a very unconfortable thing to do because while crafting the right query and investigating it is easy to accidentally peek at the subject/contents of some messages.
"Deleting the accounts seems to delete all the PMs. "
Didn't know or forgot about that. If that's confirmed it'll be easier next time.
It's a real headache to have to deal with the bots and the serial abusers :(
Ideally we'd have a way to limit PM for new users and maybe a way to report but it's lot of web work we don't have resource for. When we transition to phpbb3 it may help (or may make it worse? more attempts to exploits?)

I've been getting similar spam messages from "MrPopsicle43" (ironically my old name) and "Azul Fria". Both are names from the longplays.org forums, which I guess is done to make it seem more legitimate.

Confirmed spam and deleted about 10 such accounts. Bock, I also confirmed it wipes out the PMs when you do that via the "User Administration" form.
