Two rare tapes I have recently acquired:

ASSEMBLEUR SYMBOLIQUE
1984 by Loriciels
France
16-pages manual

Back of the box

"Un véritable ASSEMBLEUR double passe avec un Editeur puissant. Si vous désirez écrire des programmes performants en language machine : voilà l'outil idéal.

Un programme de type professionnel pour votre SEGA-YENO, livré avec manuel.

Entièrement relogeable sur le 32 K.
Compatible SEGA-YENO 16 ou 32 K"

Also released in the same boxed format. "Création des Sprites", "Moniteur Désassembleur" and "Kamikaze".

SC-3000 Softwaqre Applicativo
cassetta programma

MATEMATICA 1
cod. 249110303

per BASIC level 3A e 3B

Distributed by Melchioni
8-pages manual

Back of the box mentions other available software:

MATEMATICA 1 & 2
MATEMATICA 3
INGEGNERIA 1
INGEGNERIA 2
ELETTROTECNICA
ECONOMIA E FINANZA
EDUCATIVI

I also have Elettrotecnica 1, Ingegneria 1, Ingegneria 2 so I can confirm those at least exist.

I also have a tape called *Apprendiamo il BASIC" (learn Basic) which match the description of EDUCATIVI so it may be the same.

Here's "Creations des Sprites"
I have uploaded those two pictures a long time ago but not sure if they had a forum link.

It's not actually from Loriciels but with the matching format and the suspiciously adhoc company name "Sprites" I suspect it may just be Loriciels?

Needless to say, if you'll ever need accurate translations from anything in Italian feel free to ask me.

7 of those italian cassette were displayed in what looks like an italian retro-computer exhibition.

Damn it, Brusaporto isn't that far from where I live, I can get there in a couple of hours, if only I knew...

Anyway, that website mentions Giancarlo Oneglio as the owner of that SC-3000 stuff, I'll see what I can do and if it would be possible to drive him here.

I don't like to double post, but I found that guy's Facebook page, and there are some pictures on it. Apparently, this one is rare:

Well, I sent him a message with a link to the home page, I really hope he can join, this forum needs more Italy :P

Tom, which part is rare? The SF-7000 or the H version of the SC-3000? I have a H version of the SC-3000 myself but don't have the SF-7000

To be honest, I have no idea at all, I just pasted one of the pictures which has "rare" in its description.

I think the SF-7000 is comparatively rare in Europe, it seems to have done better in Australia and New Zealand.

Videogiochi 22 (cover date 1985-01) has a list of Italian SC-3000 games including 9 cassette games, which were L16,000 each;

Black Box (No genre listed)
Black Jack (Azzardo)
Bombers (Spaziale)
Jazzi (Strategia)
Kamikaze (Spaziale)
Master Mind (Strategia)
Othello (Strategia)
Ragni (No genre listed)
World Defender (Spaziale)

As I have never seen any of these I wondered if they were ever released individually (Black Box, Jazzi, and Ragni were released as the compilation "3 Gioche per Home Computer SC-3000"). Kamikaze was released in France by Loriciels, along with Reversi Champion (Othello?), so I thought that maybe those were just the French versions released in Italy. But this listing finally shows the Italian release of Kamikaze along with Othello, and Ragni. I now suspect that all of those were released in Italy.

Bombers and Master Mind were very popular games available in various forms on many different platforms. The most interesting missing one to me is "World Defender", which seems to be a shoot 'em up going by the genre.

The covers for these are styled differently to the educational software that Melchioni released.

The MSX Magazine & BBC Electron Sega" was an Italian MSX magazine with a cover tape that was also supposed to have some SC-3000 and Acorn Electron software on it.

Issue one was supposed to have the SC-3000 games "Attacco Di Mostri" and "Torre Misteriosa", but as the actual magazine doesn't seem to mention them, and the only cover I've seen has the SC-3000 & Electron games scribbled out then I'm not 100% sure they made it onto the cassette.

Issue two does show the SC-3000 games, although as I can only find a scan of the MSX side of the cassette, and one of the magazine pages which shows which games were included is missing, then I'm not sure if this is all of the SC-3000 software included. Known games from this cassette;

Bombers
Sprite
Palloncini
Elettronica

Maybe some of those were previously released by Melchioni, or maybe they're different versions.

Whilst Issue 3 still keeps the "& BBC Electron Sega" tagline, all of the games on the cassette are for MSX, and the magazine doesn't seem to cover the other platforms.
