Finding FM enable patches

Sonic of 8 found a while ago that a few games have code/data for FM support.

He provided RAM patches for them:

* Battle Out Run: 00DE00:01 ; this one doesn't sound particularly good
* Double Hawk: 00DD00:01
* Dynamite Dux: 00D000:01
* Rambo III: 00DE80:01
* Summer Games (Proto and Original): 00C001:01

And an hacky ROM patch for Super Basketball Demo:
; Super Basketball ROM[009D] =1 (this clear RAM with 1 instead of 0 and cause bugs)

Problem with all those patches is that they enforce FM support rather than just enabling it. It would be more convenient to have patches that enable regular FM detection without enforcing it. Anyone up for the task?
