Rely on executing uninitialized memory from $FF07 onward due to a bug in the code (a function copied to RAM isn't copied completely). Japanese/Korean Master System BIOS leave most this area uncleared. A pattern of repeated $F0 in this area fixes the game but it is unsure yet how stable or accurate are those patterns.
