- Open the C++ installation directory (on the PC Plus CD, this was \cplus45\bc45)
- Run unpaq.exe
- Click on [Browse...]
- Open rw.pak (It should be in the same directory, or possibly a subdirectory called disk16)
- Click on [Open Archive]> to view the contents of the file. They should all be highlighted.
- Type in the directory where you want to install Resource Workshop into the Destination dir: field
- Click on [Decompress]
- Click on [Exit] when it finishes decompressing the files
- To get the help file, repeat steps 3 to 8 with rw_help.pak (disk21), but this time deselect workhelp.hlx because it's not needed.
- Resource Workshop also needs bwcc.dll, which is probably already on your hard disk, or you can extract it from bwcc.pak (disk26), and bivbx11.dll which is in bivbx.pak (disk15). You may well have these in your Windows\system directory already.
