Hi
Can a Japanese or US My Card format game be used on a PAL console?

US sega card games can be used on a Pal SMS-1 console, but the Japanese cards don't have a correct header, so they won't work unless you somehow disable the BIOS on your system.
Though, Woody Pop will work on a US/european system, but it won't read the paddle correctly unless you can mod your system to boot in "Mark III mode"

Yup. My Copy of F-16 Fighting Falcon is American and is working Perfectly on my '88 SMS1 :)

So, does that mean a double-switched Megadrive with a Master System convertor is OK to play Jap cards?
I can get the Mark III boot screen when playing the early bi-regional SMS carts by switching it into JP mode.

I don't know for sure that it would, but seeing as others have had success playing Mark III carts with JAP PBC's on US/Euro Megadrive/Genesis's, I assume they would work.
Exept the SG-1000 My Card's definitely wouldn't work, as the Megadrive doesn't have SG-1000 compatibility.
