Another tune created right before the end of the deadline ! This time I am using the 6.25% duty cycle squarewaves mode (aka periodic noise) of the noise channel. It has been quite the challenge to interleave bass and drums on the noise channel in a pleasing way but I think I managed it. The melodies started to come together after a really rough start, it was pretty difficult to come up with anything at first but then things started to flow smoothly and this is the result !

Alternative formats are found here : http://www.tmeeco.eu/MUUSIKA/

I'm taking my baby steps in tracker music creation these days. It is very inspiring to listen to your tight noise channel control. I especially like that fat bass you manage to squeeze in among the drums! Great!! :)

Interleaving the bass and drums forces one of the two instruments to reside on downbeats and the other on upbeats (mostly, not strictly) so using this technique inadvertently forces a certain composition style - very good!

Nice tune.
It is interesting to hear the noise channel bass line.
But have you tried re-enforcing the bass line using another channel?

It seems (i might be wrong), you're using 2 squarewave channels (melody + echo) and 1 noise channel?

Perhaps re-enforce the bassline using the remaining channel?

I really like the composition and the overall sound. Congrats. :)

You are right about the channel arrangement :P

That isn't possible because the 3rd tone channel runs several octaves too high compared to 6.25% square... You'd end up having subsonic bass with not so good squares or nice bass with really high pitched backing on squares... Neither is an option. I could have put some other notes in the points where percussion hits, but I couldn't come up with anything interesting.

Thänk you everyone for the kind words :D

I like it!

But seriously, I think this is quite impressive. I keep hitting repeat. :)
What did you use to make this?
