First of all, I'm very fond of your choice of game! :)

Before I listened to the track, I thought: I know Hang On, how will someone ever get away with making a cover of the ultra short intro tune... But you sure show how it should be done! I have been doing a little headbanging in the couch this evening :)

I never realized how much tension that song could provide until I listened to your outro; good job!

It's a good cover, nice feeling, but -- and I am NOT a musician, so ignore this if you want -- the distorted "heavy metal" lead guitar seems a bit of a style mismatch with the traditional rock / disco -style bassline.

Everybody did a little write-up about the music, except me. Yay me.

Anyway, my inspiration behind the tune was: "How would Hang-On sound if S.S.T Band covered?"

So i tried to capture their sound, which is very, very difficult, because they are amazing.
That's is why, for the time, i tried piano sounds with guitars, and why i tried to create an interesting and "grooving" bassline.
And also is why i did the solo with extra reverb and distortion, because it is something they would often do. (Like in their After Burner cover).

Anyway, thanks for the comments, and it's going to be a tough comp this year, because i liked all entries. :)

I think you did really really good trying to imitate what S.S.T. Band is doing !
