Here's a quick translation of the second one:
It looks like some unlicenced Taiwanese carts to me. Probably for a clone system. They may be MSX knockoffs, it's hard to tell based on the game names. I imagine they're fairly desirable to collectors of SMS rarities. There was a fairly popular SG-1000 clone there apparently, so these could be SG carts. Titles: 雙響炮 = double firing cannon 祥瑞游世界 = "Lucky" tours the world |

Based on the pinouts, and pins B21/B22 being grounded I would say they are unlicensed SG-1000 cartridges.

I'm pretty sure the game it's talking about there is "City Connection" |

I obtained the cartridges!
Y-003 is MSX Twin Bee hacked for the SG-1000/SMS Y-010 doesn't work. There's a visible cut on some connection, not sure if they are intentional or not. Will dump Twin Bee whenever possible. |

Hi Everyone
I'm the person that originally found the carts. I collect for some of the older classic systems; Atari, Coleco, Intellivision, etc. I purchased the SG-1000 carts at a flea market because they looked interesting. At the time I had no idea what they were. I posted some pics at AtariAge in the hopes that someone would be able to identify them. The seller had about 3 or 4 more carts a few weeks later. I didn't purchase them because I wasn't sure if they were dupes. I also didn't think anyone would want them. :( Bock contacted me and we arranged for the sale. I went back to the flea market to see if the other carts were still there. Sadly the vendor was gone and someone selling ugly furniture was in his place. I asked around but no one knew where the original vendor had gone. I will continue to visit and ask around. I also intend to check out some of the other local flea markets in hopes of finding the original vendor. I'm really glad to hear that the one cart is something of interest to SG-1000 fans. Hopefully Bock will be able to dump it and share with the community. I also hope that the other cart can be repaired and dumped. |
