Has anyone played through both? What differences are there? I'm guessing the Sega references (eg. "Sega is No. 1" sign, Fantasy Zone music, etc) are not in the original and nobody seems to know what the ending is since it's obviously not Princess Anmitsu playing Out Run. Any ideas? Screenshots? Savestates?

Segapower
This page covers the whole game. Apparently the main character is trying to get to a cake shop, instead of an arcade in the original version. Never played through the whole game, cause the quiz section has different questions from High Tech World. And without knowing Japanese, its nearly impossible to pass.

I played the first part of the game a while back and I seem to recall there being some questions about Japanese history and such. I'm visiting my family for the holidays right now, so I don't have access to my regular computer, which contains all my ROMs. Maybe when I get back to school I can play the game and whip up a translated list of questions, and whoever wants to bother can find the correct answers.
EDIT: Bah. Never mind. I should have looked at the link posted in one of the messages above. The answers are there, about halfway down the page. Maybe I can still do a translation though.[/url] |
