Thanks to this site, finally made a working Mark III -> SMS converter

My first post here, but just wanted to thank the community here for providing amazing info.

Recently my brother visited Tokyo and bought me a bunch of Japanese Mark III games, which I discovered would not plug into my PAL Master System 2. After a couple of weeks of research, I hastily put together a cartridge converter using an 44 pin edge connector from ToToTek and a Great Golf donor cart.

Happy to see it works really well with games that pass that pass the header check, on a stock Master System BIOS.

I used ApolloBoy's pinouts as referenced here:

And some other useful information here:

Couple of evening's soldering fun has saved me from buying a Mark III :)
Shame you can't actually buy these (I see only a SMS -> Mark III converter exists) but it was a good learning experience.

EDIT: Can't post links yet (not even internal) but I'll update this post when I can.

Could you write up a guide/schematic? It would be good to add to our Development wiki, I've added a link to the currently missing page http://www.smspower.org/Development/JapaneseToExportSMS if you would like to try it.
