Hello guys!

Just found a variant portuguese release for this game with manual signed by "ECOFILMES"

Cover is the standard european version

I know about exclusive portuguese releases, but...

I never seen this variant before, I really don't know about rarity

It has been documented here - http://shinobiman.proboards.com/thread/8929

I'm not sure about rarity either, but I certainly imagine it's harder to find then the "regular" release. I believe most Portuguese games that had the translated manuals also came with the normal multi-language manuals as well. At least the few that I own did.
Nice find, nevertheless.
I've always thought the full color Portuguese manuals were really nice looking.

What's the regular release? I know the Classis release and this one. That seems to be missing the multi-languages manual, though. I don't think that's a rare game at all, unless you're simply referring to the manual. Pretty much like happened in Sweden before the multi languages manuals started to also include swedish.

Since portuguese was never included on any Sega manuals, the official distributor had to somehow comply with the law and the reasonable thing to do was to translare or even re-did them. This happened for as far as I can remember way up until the Sega demise with the Dreamcast.

Some PT manuals use images or elements from Mega Drive releases and have other factual errors. That link to the Sega8bit is missing the Fire Forget II version, which had a blue-shaded vertical manual while also saying it was for the Mega Drive, although everything "inside" was correctly refered and depicted as the Master System (controller pad, screen captures, etc).
