Phantasy Star Battery Replacement

I know there's more than one style of battery for game carts out there and there's plenty of sites that sell the batteries themselves. What kind of battery do I need to replace the one in Phantasy Star? And I am in the US so a link to one that can be purchased in the US would be great.
Thanks in advance! |

Has anyone tried these? |

You can even use AAs if you like, finding an exact match for the solder tag position can be tricky so you may need to add some wires anyway..

I bought the battery and it's an exact fit. So if anyone out there is debating it from this vendor... I say go for it!

If you know basic soldering and desoldering skills it's literally a 5 minute fix. |

“Basic” is about all I got. Ha! Thanks for the battery info and the reply. I’ll give it a shot. |
