Introduce yourself thread.

New here, and hope I am welcome.
If this is in the wrong place, please move it to where it belongs, but I did't see an introduce yourself thread and it's better to include one then spamming the board.

I just joined myself. I used to visit this site waaaay back not for the forum but for SMS game reviews, but completely forgot about it until a buddy told me about it.

I've just joined up too. I've used the website for ages but not checked out the forums. I just thought I'd sign up.
I used to have an SMS ages ago with loads of stuff, but got rid of it when I moved to Spain. Now I have one again and am looking to build my collection up even bigger than before! Hopefully I'll get some homebrew editions of a few GG games too, since I'm not really into handhelds :p
Anyway, as a brief intro, I collect for SMS, Mega Drive, Saturn, N64 and Gamecube. Pretty much every generation until games started becoming iffy!
I look forward to talking to everyone here!

I'm Dave! I'm sort of new.
I used to run a rom hacking site called Gaijin Production nearly 20 years ago and translated game gear games. some of my old posts here can still be found such as
smspower.org/forums/3383-DoubleGameGearTranslationRelease#15336
I pretty much stopped romhacking and translation after college ended.
These days I work in Japan. I recently bought wonder boy for the Switch and during the end credits, I saw Omar's name to my total surprise! This then brought back memories of SMS power and led me to re-create my account!
That was a great great remake! I love it!
Unfortunately it was very fast (I think I found everything and did it within 5 hours). It surprised me because I felt like I spent weeks on the original version.
I really hope there will be more remakes of the series, especially the 3rd and 4th Monster world games

Hello. I hope this is not considered necrobumping but this was the first introductions thread I could find with the search facility. I don't have a Master System or Game Gear but hope to get one or the other soon. I have an MD, a Saturn, and 2 DCs. I can't remember whether or not I saw a Master System 2 offered for free somewhere last year and turned it down (I hope not) because MD is technically backward compatible or some stupid excuse to make sure I don't buy anything more.

Good afternoon everyone. Was wonderful to find a site dedicated to the SMS that is still showing signs of life! I am 38 and still own my two original SMS systems I received for X-mas in 1987.
I have a few questions that hopefully this wonderful group will be able to assist me in answering/figuring out. I just hope I ask them in the right place!
