do you guys know if it's possible to do portamento/slide on mod2psg2?
are there any other trackers that make music for the master system?
any other ways around?
i wonder what the official guys back in the days were using to make music for the master system games...

ps-wish there was midi to master system..

Hi All,

If you set the speed of your song real quick, then just put semi-tone notes in quick succession then you will get a slide. As annoying as that is, I think there may also be other ways to do it but that is how I have done it in the past.

As for SMS to MIDI.... stuff does exist, its not been released to the PD yet though :( Wish little-scale would get some more time on his hands.

i tried deflemask , it looks really good .
i would like to ask you if there's a way to incorporate a piano roll , that would make my life and a lot of other people much easier.. :|
it's not a bad idea to have a piano roll and a sequencer to create master system pure vgm's . :)
a question for you is , how to you set up the noise channel linked to channel 3 to give that low bass? meanwhile , i will read the manual :)

yea im following littlescale too , seems he's on this for 2-3 years now? wish he would release it...

You need to set it to Periodic Noise mode. How to accomplish that im not sure.

i was trying to look for it on the manual but it doesnt say much.
another thing is how to get the 3 noise tones , i press the keys and i get a noise tune sound and that doesnt happen in the master system..

Good question.

Maybe they were using Amiga or dos trackers and then somehow converting them onto the system with some special tools who knows...
