Wonderboy III SRAM hack

Hey guys,
I have been seeing hacks for the NES that add SRAM saves to old NES games like Metroid.
I have been searching high and low for a good place to find ROM hacks and I have fell short.
Is there a hack that adds save support to Wonderboy III? and if not how come?
Just wondering if there were any places that I could find ROM hacks.
