Hi,
I've thought about this a long time, and now I recalled and decided to post:
Is it possible to hack Great Volley so the sets' length and serving advantage accord to modern volley rules ?

Possible, yes. Easy, depends on what needs to be changed. The overlap of hacking enthusiasts and volleyball enthusiasts is quite small.

There are only two changes on the old rules: the winning points objective for each set have risen from 15 to 25 points, and each time the turn to serve the ball changes, the team who "steals" the service earns a point (before 1998, a team can only earn poins in its turn to serve).
The main problem could be the transition from best of 3 to best of 5 sets.
