I am using a regular SMS1 Scart cable on my japanese SMS. That should make your search easier.

If you're using an MK-2000 Japanese SMS and want RGB, you'll need a cable without any components in it, as the MK-2000 has the proper caps and resistors on the motherboard (so if you use a Genesis 1 or SMS cable, it'll be too dark or won't work at all). Here's one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/201616789866

And if you get a Scart cable with components in it or have one laying around, you could easily remove them.
Also as far as I know this only applies to Scart cables. If you just need composite, all standard MD1 and SMS1 composite cables should work. Maybe RetroRGB can elaborate a little more ^^

If the RGB SCART cables are made to spec, the 75 ohm resistors are in the console side of the cable and the capacitors are in the SCART head. If that's the case, the resistors are usually very tricky to remove and some cable makers even fill their console connectors with epoxy to secure the wires in place.

As far as I know, the composite video cable is the same for both.

Okay, thanks for the info. I was always lucky to not get one of those cables then :)
