Is there anyone here who would be willing to buy items on Mercadolibre over a period of a few months and ship them at once? I'm happy to trade the effort for Japanese games in exchange.

Also does anyone know what is the situation with Brasilian shipping and taxes and why everytime i'm trying to buy something it cost me an arm and leg in various crazy taxes? it is possible to reduce that to something decent?

I've been asking for the same help on various other gaming forums for months and as of yet no takers. :(

Last time I checked the Assembler forums there was a list of members from all over the world happy to bid for other people.

You want to buy from Mercadolivre or Mercadolibre??, the one with "V" is the brazilian ML, while for the rest of South America is Mercadolibre with a "B", (I'm from Uruguay).

I can buy from Mercadolibre Argentina, Brazil or Uruguay, but shipping rates + bank transfers can be expensive, I use Paypal but is not the rule here.)

I also had bought some games from him in the past. However he has stopped trading SMS games about a year now... Unless you mean that you made deals out of ebay...

Sorry to bump this topic. I'm a member of no-intro and after some time of inactivity I'm on the track to get back in action. This includes finding several undumped games from brazil for different gaming systems. I wanted to do this already some time ago but there was some lack in money and time. Now I want to get this done once and for all. Is anyone willing to help catching some goodies from mercadolivre and shipping them to me? This would be awesome because ML does not offer paypal and it's hard to grab anything from there outside brazil.

The games in question:

Donald starring in Maui Mallard (Mega Drive) NTSC exclusive
Fifa A Caminho Da Copa 98 (SNES) NTSC exclusive
Fifa A Caminho Da Copa 98 (N64) - translated?
International Superstar Soccer (Mega Drive) - translated?
Sport Games (Mega Drive) - possibly not dumped correctly

If anyone does have one of these by chance and is willing to lend the cart I'd be pleased of course. Thanks in advance!

I've gotten proxies myself. These days you can just get google translator, make an account, bid and email the guys. Usually they are up for interesting trades, but some can be persuaded to get a paypal account.

Keep in mind shipping prices to and out of that country are pretty ridiculous so it's usually best to do it in bulk. I tend to do it this way.
