White Rabbit Mascot for SG-1000?

I've heard that the SG-1000 used a White Rabbit Mascot that Sega included in promotional material during their 8-bit days prior to the creation of Alex Kidd. I took a look through the scans on SG-1000 stuff and came up empty. Is anyone familiar with this character?

I remembered a white rabbit in a couple of german master system early games booklets, generally in the "hint and tips" pages of the instruction manual so checked in my collection:
page 18 of the great soccer manual,
page 13 spy vs spy
page 18 transbot
page 29 astro warrior/pit pot
