Just got back from a trip to Japan, luggages filled with old Sega games! I've caught up with dumping, practically finished dumping my whole SG-1000 collection, found some alternates, and catching up with Game Gear games.

We have a little weird obscurity here:
Torarete Tamaruka!? for the Game Gear (とられたたまるか!?), based on the also obscure movies of the same name. Your mission is to protect client's houses/belongings from thiefs, by setting trap and catchnig them with various items. Think of something along the line of Spy vs Spy or Night Trap, you've got an original gameplay here, and this is a nice candidate for homebrew translation. In the meanwhile, enjoy the challenge of playing this new game in its original Japanese version. Seems faisable.

Additionnally, I have Sensible Soccer for the Game Gear, european cartridge release of the famous old-school soccer game. No bell and whistle, just straight soccer.
