Hmm, just a word to say that I've been cleaning the main page and added some stuff.
Alignment/tables are broken in Internet Explorer now, however. I'll work on fixing this.

It should be fixed now.
I am absolutly sick of HTML/CSS stuff right now. I can't handle. Too complicated.

Hello Bock,
I think you may want feedback on your new main page so here we go..
Wow it's cool. I now find it much easier to use and the sections in which the site is split up into is much better. Let's say it has a "cleaner" look which isn't all cluttered.
I also like the "in pixels we trust" section. (It ads interest to the page)
Thanks,
Jacko

Thanks Jacko.
I figured out those sprites would give some more life to the page.
I now I'm a very bad web designer. I'm welcoming anyone who wish to help (I can provide the source page for who want to try messing up with the design). We need a proper general-purpose CSS and sets of functions to display various kind of contents and have it shown the same way accross the site. Right now our design is kinda incoherent between pages, and it's a bit tedious to add new contents.

Great improvement. I might even begin to use the front page now. If the introduction, the "who-are-behind-SMSPower" and the "how-to-support-SMSPower" boxes got placed somewhere else - on the bottom of the page or linked from the index - it would be perfect. Then I didn't have to scroll down to the good stuff: the news!

Avatars

Oh, and by the way: I am generally against the idea of avatars, although they do make it easier to immediately identify the posters. But with all this sprite-ripping stuff that's happening at the moment, I just think it's really tempting to want avatars. Imagine proudly displaying, and being connected to, your favourite Sega 8-bit sprite. Whoa!
