Massacre sprite editor

Great site! But I was wondering why there's no mention of Massacre,
a decent (though user-unfriendly) sprite editor for sms (and
possibly game gear) roms - wouldn't it be useful for rom translators?

Right, I forgot to post it. Actually, Johannes (who is on the board, too) is working on rewriting it from stratch and from what I saw, it'll be much better.

Also, Tile Layer can edit SMS graphics. But in both cases, it only works when the graphics are raw encoded (no compression).

Massacre II, however, will have support for the compression used in Phantasy Star (and some other games I believe(hope)).

And that, btw, is all thanks to Paul Jensen.

You simply cannot link to file on www.emucamp.com :(

If you want to get the file, paste the URL and copy it in the location field of your browser.
Btw, it rocks !

Wow! I thought no one would ever make a dos emulation related program with as well designed a gui as meka...but you've done so! Makes the gui of my little project look horribly ugly and complex....if I had less pride and energy I'd rewrite as a cheap copy of your gui :P
hehe, in case you can't tell, I'm very impressed!

Thanks! Comments like that one make life worth living :)
If there's enough interest, I'll release the source code when it's finished...
