404 Redirect Script
Post Posted: Sat Nov 13, 2004 1:53 pm
I wrote a new 404 script that dynamically redirect old URL to new URL, based on a database. This will be useful especially when we change forums (soon), to keep old addresses intact. And also when pages transition from the static stuff in db/ to the museum pages.

You can test:
http://wip.smspower.org/whfdhfhdjhfsdhfsd

However this one redirect to somewhere else:
http://wip.smspower.org/magic

One improvement that I would make to it would be to place a back link on the page (this can be achieved by using a simple JavaScript that goes back one page according to your net history).
