GG 32kb game with save capabilities
Post Posted: Sat May 18, 2019 4:20 pm
Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if there has ever been a Game Gear/SMS game that was 32kb or less that had a save function?

I have a few small games I'd like to create a pcb for like this and hoping there is one out there to jump start this idea.

Thanks!

No, I think the smallest game with save RAM is Monopoly at 128KB. There are two SG-1000 games which are 32KB with additional RAM, but not for saving.

There may be some homebrew though... but all the ones I can think of are also larger.

Edit: of course http://www.smspower.org/Homebrew/PFRDetect-SMS will let you test it.
