sentbox vs. outbox
Post Posted: Thu Mar 29, 2007 12:53 am
When I send private messages to people they sometimes show up in my 'sentbox' and sometimes end up in my 'outbox'. What's the difference between these two?

Thanks.

When you send a message, it's always put in the Outbox. While it's still there, you can edit it, or even delete it (it won't be sent). A message will stay in the Outbox as long as the recipient won't get in his Private Messages folder (even if he doesn't read it); when it happens, the message is moved and stored in the Sentbox.

I'm not sure if the recipient needs to get in his Private Message folder or if he just needs to log on the board; in any case, I think you can see the point ;)

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
