I've added the ability to attach files to your posts. Use the boxes below the main posting area to attach files. You have a limit of 2MB for all your attachments, so be careful what you upload! (We can increase quotas later.)

Fixed, sorry :) I modified it to allow copying attachment URLs into IMG tags, and broke it for normal cases.

I know we can only attatch pictures to our posts but would it be any benifit to the users of the forums to allow attatchments of SMS demos (.sms) and VGM files (.vgm, .vgz)??

I just think it would be a better way to share files and things within users of the forums. What do you think about this Bock or Maxim??

You can zip them and then attach them.

Are you sure about 2MB. It would take up heaps of room over time if everyone did it.

Well, we'll see. Some people would need more than 2 MB to post proper useful stuff so we may even extend that. We don't expect more than a few percent of people using that space anyway.

There are global limits for uploaded files, and we watch out for spamming and will remove all inappropriate attachments. It's a minute's work to assign people extra capacity if they exceed their 2MB. It is currently possible for people to delete their old attachments but our aim is to allow permanent storage of interesting information.
