16mb address will be handy; even tho they should have added a few more pins and gone up to the 4gb mark ;)

synthesizable core(??)

Well, it shows the Zilog is still around and producing
quality chips. The one thing that shocked me was
TCP/IP stack and synthesized mode. What the hell is
that? Is that some kind of net connection or
something? Either way, that kind of processor would
be perfect for the development system I'm dreaming
up.

the tcp/ip thing shows that zilog are intending it to be inside all these internet connected consumer electronics we are all supposed to have in the next 5 years ;)
