Has anybody that frequents this forum actually tried to program a SMS game with acceptable results?
Come to think of it, has there been *any* home-brew SMS games released? That snail.asm is the closest thing to a home-brew game that I have seen for the SMS. Oh, and not that you really care or anything, but I have a new Email address: unfnknblvbl@mad.scientist.com Like I said, you don't really care, do you? ~unfnknblvbl PS; That was a rhetorical question |

To be fair, there are a few other SMS sample programs out there. Charles Doty wrote a few, and a group called "Super Magic Spiral Crew" (or SMSC) modified some of them to create new ones. The SMSC source code might be in the SMSC documents in the "Technical Information" center. If not, I believe I still have copies of some. I'll post them here, if any one is interested. As far as I know though, no real home-brew game has been written, probably due to a lack of suitable development tools. Eric (The following is a test:) e-quinn@elnet.com The Sega Notebook |
