SMS Emulators w/ Debuggers
Post Posted: Mon Aug 09, 1999 8:30 pm
Has anyone used the debugging features in BrSMS and Calypso for SMS/GG software development/testing? I have not.

Is anyone actually working on any SMS/GG programming projects? If not, is the problem the lack of suitable development tools?

Man, Calypso is the bomb! It's nicer on your eyes and you can execute how ever many instructions you
need; 1, 2, 5, 10, 100, 1000. It even has the little screen on the top right that shows you the current
graphics being shown on the screen. Not to mention what's in the VDP and what the pallete is set
for. It makes Brsms look primitave and totally unworthy. Now only if the emulation were faster and
there were some good sound...But it think this is pretty good for a first release and all.

I'm off to snag it. I want to do a project for both the Gameboy Color and Game Gear.

Do you have a location for the emulator?
