SMS Mark2 no output
Post Posted: Tue Nov 06, 2018 8:47 pm
Hi All,
I have recently dug out my very old Mark 2. Visually it looks OK but there is no output. I have checked the voltage regulator - 7805. It seems fine, 10v input and 5v output. Any help or suggestions welcome. Are there any fuses on this model I need to check ?
Many thanks
Gerry

On the mega drive, the fuse is before the 7805 so I'm guessing that if you get 5V out that the voltage is ok.
Maybe capacitors ? You could check voltage on all ICs just to be sure.

Or maybe it's just your cable ?
