game gear screen with 2 black horizontal lines

Hi, would appreciate any advice, I have a game gear in excellent condition recently after turning it on 2 thin horizontal black lines have appeared, rest of screen is beautiful, sound is fantastic, wondering is this my lcd on way out ? Thanks for looking 😃

Have you looked inside your game gear for bad electrolytic capacitors? They are the source for the majority of issues with game gears.
