Mod2psg2 windows 10

Ummm....
Bad idea to update windows from 8
1 to 10.
Now my most loved software, mod2psg2 , does not start
Could not load library
Info 1: 5
Info 2: 2
Seen other forum thread with same problem but not solved.
Any insights?

Solved.
Back to w8.1 and windows shows a dialog about msvcr71.dll not found. In windows 10 there are no message at all. Each version better and better...

The fact is i was to go back to w7. Rufus usb key and installed on gpt laptop drive (like gpt, is easier to manage boot with windows/linuxs).
Installed w7 bust first os boot and no desktop at all. Trying safe and 640x480 mode and no luck. So installed w10. And 30' after going back w8.1
I hope one day reactos will be good enough to run all software i need. If does not is yet!

ReactOS... I'm trying to use that since 15 years, still no luck. My last test was last year but since I found no way to make the floppy drive work, I couldn't install the drivers I needed. Two days wasted.

Strange. After I did the update from 7 to 10, Mod2PSG2 kept working perfectly.

I suppose you installed some driver or software with visualc 2003 runtime (if was an update you maintain these files. I installed a clean copy)
The point is visual c 2003 runtime is only downloadable with a windows patch.
Always can download the dlls individually ad i did...
