Any SMS emulators that let you change clock speed?
Post Posted: Tue Apr 11, 2017 5:23 pm
I remember that MasterBoy for the PSP let you overclock the Z80 so that slowdowns would pretty much disappear. It wasn't 100% accurate emulation, but playing Sonic 1 and others at full speed was an amazing feeling. Are there any emulators (for Windows or Android) that can do this?

Thanks.

Old emulators let you change the "iperiod" which amounts to the same thing. In my experience it either doesn't help (game locked to a low frame rate) or messes up some timing (glitches) a lot of the time, but it may help reduce slowdown.
