Hi how y'all doing. I'm new to this forum so hopefully I'm posting this in the correct spot. I was curious as to if anyone knew of any mod/install services for game gear LCD screens? | |

I think you'll have to do it yourself. Sorry.
Is something wrong with your display? If so, I'll see if I can help from there. |

I repair the LCD for the original Game Gear screen.
It is possible to fit a modern LCD into the Game Gear but at great cost as a service. This seller in Australia sells the converter board which changes the Game Gear RGB signal to composite video so you can either connect to you TV or fit a modern LCD to the circuit. It's not easy you have to cut the Game Gear case where the new LCD fits and there is quite a lot of soldering involved. But it is possible. http://etim.net.au/ggtv/ggtv.htm |
