Master system games using both PSG and FM at the same time.

I have Tim's Master system FM sound board and a few games using it.
-SpellCaster
-WBIII
-R-Type
-Rastan.
-PowerStrike

It seems to me that these games either use FM or PSG, not both at the same time like is common on the Genesis.

Mostly curious about this but it would also help me calibrate the volume balance right in my Game Gear. ( Yes I installed the FM board in a Game gear, it works. )

DARC (a homebrew) uses FM and PSG at the same time and Japanese BIOS. I don't know others.

Thanks for those infos :)

Sadly I dont see a way to test those on my Game gear at the moment, I do not have a flash cart :(

DARC looks very cool, Maybe I should just invest in a flash cart :P

Thanks.

DARC is not a full game. I did not have the time to finish it before the competition deadline.

BTW,.The game uses only FM for the music and PSG for the effects.

The videos below on the other hand use both PSG (2 channels) and FM (6 channels+drum) for the music. I'm still working on the tracker and replayer but I intend to use this for future stuff;

I thought the Gameplay of DARC looked very interesting and I liked the music. Any plan to finish it?

So, when playing games with fm support, do they make use of the psg sound chip at the same time? Just like megadrive does. Thanks.
