Horizontal X2 Stretch with Vertical X1

hello all,
i am using meka on my pc running from vga to scart to a crt tv, and would like to be able to double the horizontal pixels (512 instead of 256) leaving the height at 192, as on my graphics card 256x192 is very narrow with big borders left and right, where as 512x192 fills the screen up, so i wondered if there's a way to only double the vertical pixels like on FCE ultra you can set horizontal to 2x and vertical to 1x
