Those are very old pages that we should probably redirect.

All of the old radio shows are missing, and 404 when you attempt to download them.

Would there be some way to get those back up, even as a torrent or something? There is a lot of classic music you literally can't find anywhere else on those podcasts.

Just a small error, there's a preview scan of Ecco the Dolphin 2 (GG) in Ecco the Dolphin (GG) page:
http://www.smspower.org/Games/EccoTheDolphin-GG
Fortunately not in scan section, only in the game page.

I might actually fix this by my own eventually, but, since I never played this game, maybe it should be done by someone who's more familiar with it. I am at work right now anyway, which means that I can't take any action until later today.

Do you mean the status text on some of the images? There are more instances of that, they're just old screenshots.

Yes, I meant the text. I think those screenshots should be retaken.

The bottom display shows the part number and some extra information, languages displays 1 but should be 4 as the flyer/catalog shows 4 languages displayed.

Languages should be 4

I don't know if its just me....but I can't seem to figure out how to download the Dr Franken Game Gear demo.....is it possible that it is down?

EDIT: Ok, found my way onto a page that seems to have the file on it, but when I try to open the zip it tells me the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged. Anyone have this zip?

Language count is incorrect, the last 'block' is dutch, but there is (swedish or something like that) below it (i guess it says instructions inside)

English, French, German, Dutch (& italian, spanish, swedish?)

The manual can be tagged with the number of languages it has; three or four words doesn't really count as having box text in that language, I think.

It shows in the emulator list, it's been always there.
That said Master Gear is an oddity of the 90's now, and it is absurdly priced.

This isn't really an error, but I wasn't sure where else to post it. I bought a copy of The Pro Yakyuu - Pennant Race (ザ・プロ野球 ペナントレース), and it only has one chip, where as on the Japanese SMS Cartrdiges page, it's listed as having a mapper chip and a 28-pin 8x128k chip.

The one I got has an MPR-11127. Let me know if you guys want some scans of the board.

HI Gents,

When I click on the "DEVELOPMENT" section there seems to be a lot of the categories missing?

is this something you gents are working on?

I just wanted to check out some info on the MEMORY MAP for the Game Gear.

Cheers!

Yes, we have an issue currently where searching is broken; a lot of site features are using searching underneath, for example the development index and games listings. For now, it's probably better to ask questions on the development forum.

For now, please don't report any errors; status on the current issues is here:

If i am unlogged, click on a thread, click reply, asks for my username/pass. After i entered them, i get this error :Post Mode not Specified. Which forces me to click on the forums link again and reopen the thread.

After the recent server move, we had a bunch of issues with files containing non ascii characters. We fixed the pages but there are some images that are still broken. I don't have easy access to fix this these days :(

It looks like I'm on a streak of bad luck, because I tried to open the "Competition 2013: status thread" but I got one of the good old DEBUG MODE errors:
SQL Error : 126 Incorrect key file for table './smspower_main/forums_phpbb_posts_text.MYI'; try to repair it

If it's this page, you need to be a special member to download ROMs from this site.
Try one of the "Dump Release Mirror" links on the bottom of the front page. I think the deal is that because it's expensive to host the ROMs, only a few people are given access to the ROM links, and some of those people reupload the links for public access on their own sites (the mirror sites).
