Tell me about it, I have that cart already but I came in 3rd on the bidding for that one there. I couldn't justify going any higher only needing the box, since it was a pirate afterall.

Hello Everyone!

I have just listed a bunch of Game Gear games that i have twice or thrice in my collection, all running until next sunday. All games are CIB (except Ayrton Sennas Super Monaco GP, which misses the inlet). Condition ranges from ok to very good.

Bids start at 1 Euro.

Same here. I was just watching them, when the auction was ended and relisted - of course without the sega 4-in-1 and classic global gladiators games...
I then asked the seller, if he sold those two games for less than 100 Euro and got something like this as a reply: "Sorry, da hat ein anderer schneller reagiert." (Sorry, someone else reacted quicker than you.).

Damn...

So, i wasnt the one who bought it...

Are you kidding? That's practically a giveaway.

Having said that, the seller is open to best offers so you might be able to haggle him down a bit if you play your cards right.

Is the japan version rare ? Or columns itself ?

I have a CIB Brazilian TecToy Columns GG from my childhood.

They are joking around. NO Columns is rare. Although of course the Brazil version would be considered the harest of all GG Colmuns games for sure just due to overall scarcity of Brazil GG stuff in the first place.

Never mind. :) Now that i see the picture, i remember that i heard about the fact, that Samsung was into the korean market. But that some cartridges are gold (i think they look white on the picture) was/is completely new to me.

Does anybody here know how many of these gold cartridges exist?

Not an auction, but the guy who runs Rewind Bits talks to me on Twitter and is a sound guy.

He has some GameGear stuff for sale on his site, including new screens and new magnifiers: http://www.rewind-bits.co.uk/by-console.html?cat=54

The only game I don't have from that lot is Chicago Syndicate.

Sonic 2 - at least 4 different copies

The Terminator - came with the first GG I bought when I started collecting

Road Rash - 2 different copies (US and EU)

Terminator 2 - have both that version and T2: the Arcade Game

Madden 95 - have both 95 and 96

Rise of the Robots - fortunate to get new/sealed copy of this along with T2: Arcade, Madden 95 and 96

Wait a second!

You seriously have a sealed Rise of the Robots? USA Version (Pink) or Euro version (Black)? I have 3 different CIB's of Rise of the RObots. Euro CIB, Euro Box with USA UPC stickers inside the SEALED plastic came from a USA wholesaler in California, and a pink USA CIB. If you have the PINK one sealed could you please post a picture of it here?
Thank you!

Sorry, dude. The one I have is the Euro version and it ceased to be sealed when I opened it to play the game. Its current status is CIB.

Hey Bock congrats on the tough pickup. I was only interested because Sascha said it was sealed. But he PM'd me saying it is opened at the bottom and not sealed. So it's all good. My USA set has a nice CIB already but it's one of the one's I'm missing sealed. :)

Yes Erik, at least for someone who doesnt own a boxed copy, Man Overboard definitely is a must, even though the box has seen better days.

I have a couple of those but only one CIB. $5.99 was definetly cheap though. They make it feel like you're trying to play video games holding a watermelon!

Hey SMS members! Some of you Game Gear addicts might have realized that i relisted my Man Overboard copy that was originally sold on the 12th of June.

The winning bidder didnt pay nor contact me until after i opened the case (asking for cancellation of transaction) and relisted the game the next day (sunday 19th).

Now that he paid i am still not willing to sell it to him, because he didnt pay in time and didnt contact me before. Not to mention it would have been a steal for that price. I asked ebay for help (will see what they say) even though i dont really expect any true help. If i am not forced to sell it to him, i will refund his paypal payment with a message that is (again) explaining that his payment was too late. Should i be forced to sell it to him, i will have to end the auction within the next days unfortunately. Just to let you know, guys.
