Awesome, thanks!
That's one game I always wanted to play.

The readme only mentions two of the cheat passwords. For some reason, we have the second one down as "Kahure's Secret Message". "Gamer Miki-Chan" was the nickname of a developer, and has an R in the first word. But the message giver seems female, Mobygames thinks he's a man, and the Wikipedia page (in French) thinks she's a woman.

Been wanting to play this one for a while!

Tried it out and got as far as the old woman at the forest before getting stuck.

I enjoyed the drinking contest in the bar, and getting reactions from women when you use the "eat" command on them :) Hitting the egg when it's on your girlfriends table is pretty funny too.

OK, the old man in the forest's questions are tough. If he wasn't crazy, the actual answers to the questions would be No, No ,No, Yes, No... but that would make it too easy.

The correct answers are Yes, No, Yes, Yes, No.

(The answer is, Yes Yes No No Yes). Did it get changed in the translation process?

Either the walkthrough is wrong, or it must have been changed, because I tried the walkthrough's answers, and it didn't work. Though, the walkthrough does seem to indicate that the old man doesn't know what he's talking about.

Hah yeah I was going to include a part in the readme that gets you past that since everyone gets stuck there but I just totally forgot. You have to talk to her about Chaos a few times then offer her money, then suddenly her memory becomes "clear" and you can progress.

I'm not sure about the Gamer Miki thing, Filler did all the translation work so I can forward him your post and see if he can clear it up.

As for the old man's questions- I didn't (and couldn't if I had wanted to) change the correct answers, so I would assume the walkthrough is wrong. His questions were kinda weird (like the stars in the universe thing, I mean who the hell would count how many stars there are on the first screen?). Unless it's something I changed completely by accident which I doubt.

Here are the original translations of the questions-

The universe glimmered before you, there are 13 stars.

The man in the bars job is a zoo guard.

The guard's right arm up comes up (on his upper right arm).

There is a woman in pink clothes at a reception desk at the Alphus airport.

The egg shop was not selling gremlin eggs.

And the pointers are all exactly the same, so like I said I assume the walkthrough could be wrong, actually I know it's wrong because the guy in the bar is a janitor, not a guard, and the walkthrough says "YES" is the correct answer to that question.

Don't know if it's a bug or not, but in the laboratory, after taking the man home, talk to anything other than the door, (for example the electronic lock or a book) and you say "I'm not hungry right now."

Great work on the translation. It's nice to see that it finally got finished. Congrats!

Here's my take on the questions *SPOILERS?*:

うちゅうで めのまえで かがやいていた<LINE> ほしのかずは 13こで あーる
The number of stars that were twinkling in front of you in space is 13.
(This is referring to the number of blinking stars that can be seen during space flight scenes. This should be YES.)

The man in the bar works as a zoo guard.
(He's a janitor, so this should be NO.)

The guard [at the zoo] was folding his arms with his right arm on top.
(He is, so this should be YES.)

The reception lady with the pink clothes is at the spaceport on Alphus.
(She is, so YES).

The egg shop was not selling gremlin eggs.
(If you check the eggs, one of them is a gremlin egg, so NO.)

Yeah, it looks like the walkthrough is wrong. Do these answers match up with the ones in the translation? I haven't played through that far.

Thanks! I'll fix that in the next update, probably just a pointer in the wrong spot.

Paul- Thanks, yeah I was excited to finish it since this was my first hack with any ASM modifications. I'm not 100% satisfied with the script since it's still a bit rough in places (there are about 4 or 5 lines I couldn't figure out how to get to appear in game and without context they are probably completely insane sounding), but with 5 or so other Game Gear projects going I just wanted to get this one out the door, hah. Filler was stoked that his script work wasn't going to waste so it was a nice project for both of us.

On the questions, I worded them slightly different but your translation is basically how they are in the game so yeah the walk-through is definitely wrong.

This is pretty cool. I got as far as the bar before I gave up, but I plan to try again soon.

I finally played through this, it was frustrating at times but I'm really glad to have had the opportunity. Show of hands, who else had their first game turn out like this?
