The eight data lines transmit ROM data between the PC and the cartridge. As described in the Components section, an 8-way commoned SIL resistor (47 kohms) is used to "pull down" the data lines to Ground.

Orient the resistor so that the GND (common) pin is in 7AL, and pin 8 is in 7AD. Solder all 9 pins in place.
