These games do not have sequential triggers. Some have sound tests. Many are composed by Matt Furniss. The block counter can be used to trigger music by setting the value one less than the starting value. Once the current sequence ends it will increment and start the next track (+1 entered). In some games the tempo or pitch might be off slightly using this method. Others seem to keep the pattern value in different voices. This method is therefore only ideal in comparing in game vgm logs to what is available. These games require hacking in order to log appropriately without actually playing through the game. There tend to be some unused tracks also.

  1. ^ a b Triggers music block, not entire song
  2. ^ Edit address in ROM to change control music. Title screen hack is preferred, but in some cases, a pause hack works better and is listed. Use trigger where available to determine valid values. TH=Title Screen, PH=Pause Hack, OH=Options Screen, LH=Location Hack-used when others not available, usually close to beginning of game.

  18. ^ a b This is a table hack. Ids in this area are generally valid song ids. This is not always the case. In general it is best to replace the listed value with what is thought to be a valid id, just as in other hacks, but access is more indirect.
